European School, 18th Century
Seven Framed Prints of Noblemen and Scholars. Identified within the plates, the portrait of Robert Marsham includes a collector's stamp from The Royal Library at Windsor Castle (L. 2535) in the margin l.r. Engravings and mezzotints, sizes to 25 x 15 1/2 in. Condition: Trimmed to plates, minor foxing and soiling, gently toned.

Portraits include Robert Marsham, 2nd Baron Romney by John Finlayson (British, c. 1730-c. 1776), after Sir Joshua Reynolds (British, 1723-1792); Harbord Harbord, 1st Baron Suffield by John Raphael Smith (British, 1751-1812), after Thomas Gainsborough (British, 1727-1788); Louis Phelypeaux, comte de Saint Florentin by Johann Georg Wille (German, 1715-1808), after Louis Tocqu?
