Ellsworth Kelly (American, 1923-2015)
Red-Orange (Rouge-Orange), 1964-65, edition of 75, HC XIII/XIII. Signed "Kelly" lower right, numbered lower left; titled, dated, numbered, and inscribed "Axom 6" in graphite on the reverse. Lithograph on Rives BFK white paper with deckled edge, image size 18 1/8 x 25 1/8 in. (46.0 x 63.8 cm), paper size 23 3/4 x 35 1/4 in. (60.3 x 89.5 cm), framed to 38 1/2 x 27 x 1 7/8 in. (97.8 x 68.6 x 4.8 cm).

Note: Ellsworth Kelly was an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker associated with hard-edge painting, Color Field painting and minimalism. His works demonstrate unassuming techniques emphasizing line, color and form, similar to the work of John McLaughlin and Kenneth Noland. Kelly often employed bright colors. He lived and worked in Spencertown, New York.Condition
