Collection of Six Assorted Wedgwood Jasper Medallions, England, 18th century, each oval and with applied white relief, three solid blue marked Wedgwood & Bentley, Chrysippus, in a gilt bronze frame, lg. 2; Julia, lg. 2 1/8; boys with goat, lg. 5; with three light blue dip, Poor Maria, lg. 3 5/8; child depiction of William I of Orange, lg. 3 3/8; and a classical maiden holding a club and draped in a lion skin, lg. 3 1/2 in.; impressed marks.
Provenance: Grigsby Collection.Condition
Condition: W & B Chrysippus: Hairlines to relief.
W & B Julia: Body restored; numberous small edge chips.
Boys w/goat: Broken into numerous pieces and repaired.
Poor Maria: Rim chip and another still attached.
Prince William: Heavily crazed to blue surface and with rim chips front and back.
Maiden with club: Shallow back edge chips.
