West Rock with horizontal abrasions and paint losses,
East Rock with surface imperfection or accretion to c.r., both with craquelure and surface grime.

N.B. West Rock and East Rock are iconic rocky outcroppings that flank New Haven, Connecticut. They have inspired poets, painters, and naturalists since the early 19th century, capturing the imagination of such artists as Thomas Cole, Frederick Church, George Durrie, Childe Hassam, and John Ferguson Weir.
