Rocks and Sea (Coastal Scene)
Signed "Demuth" l.l., with labels from Babcock Galleries, New York, and Christie's New York (see below) affixed to the reverse.
Oil on board, 12 x 16 in. (30.5 x 40.6 cm), framed.
Condition: Minor drying cracks.
Provenance: The artist to his mother, Mrs. Augusta W. Demuth; by descent to Robert E. Locher, 1943; to Richard W.C. Weyand, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Estate of the above; Parke-Bernet Galleries, Inc., New York, Part Two [Final] of the Collection Belonging to the Estate of the Late Richard W.C.
