Condition: Not examined out of frames.

The rebels or Taipings at Nankin opening fire upon the Lee gun-boat was published as a full page in
The Illustrated London News April 2, 1859.
The new steam-frigate "Mersey" 40 guns was published as a full page in
The Illustrated London News, May 7, 1859. The artist/engraver is listed as EW/Smyth.
