- Lot Description
Blue Transfer Sauce Tureen, Ladle, and Comport, England, c. 1800-1820, a Spode earthenware sauce tureen with attached stand printed in blue underglaze in the Forest Landscape II pattern, unmarked, ht. 6 1/2, lg. 8; a molded pearlware sauce ladle printed in blue underglaze with a portion of the Net pattern, marked with a Spode workman’s mark, Copeland’s WMT 13, lg. 6 3/4; and an earthenware comport printed in blue underglaze with the Curling Palm pattern, unmarked, ht. 8 1/4, lg. 13 1/4 in.
Provenance: The Zeller Collection.Condition
Condition: Sauce tureen: Very good condition with one very small chip on the inside of the cover.
Ladle: Very good condition with only very minor rubbing to the tip of the handle.
Comport: Very good condition with no evidene of damage or repairs.
