Condition: Mrs. Penn 36 x 28 in (91.5 x 71.0 cm), framed to 41 x 33 x 1 1/2 inches, with a Fenway Art Center, Boston, label affixed to the frame backing foam core.
Mr. Penn 36 x 28 in. (91.5 x 71.0 cm), framed to 46 x 38 x 2 1/2 inches, with a label from John Clowes Grundy, Printseller to the Queen, Manchester, affixed to the stretcher. John Clowes Grundy (1806-1867) was a leading Manchester printseller in the mid-19th century.
