The Vase of a Thousand Faces. Charles Allis (1853-1918) was part of a wealthy industrial family. He and his wife Sarah built a mansion on Milwaukee's Gold Coast and filled it with their art collection. They bequeathed the mansion and contents to the people of Milwaukee. Condition: Framed dimensions are 33 1/2 x 44 1/4 in. A label affixed to the backing states that the work is archivally framed and glazed with non-glare, UV-filtering glass.
Although the frame was not opened during cataloging, the condition appears good, and the work is framed so that the edges of the sheet are visible.
