Pablo Picasso. Dix Pochoirs, 1920, edition of 100, published by Éditions Galerie Rosenberg, Paris. Numbered and signed "67/100 Picasso" in pencil l.l., collector's stamp (see below) to verso. Color pochoir on laid paper with partial watermark, image size 11 x 8 1/8 in. (27.8 x 20.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Gentle toning to margins, floated within the mat, pencil annotations to verso.
Provenance: Ex-collection of Marina Picasso according to collector's mark (Lugt, 3698); through to the current private Massachusetts collection.
N.B. This composition reproduces a gouache also from 1920. The Galerie Rosenberg, owned by the influential dealer Paul Rosenberg, was located just up the Rue la Boétie from where Picasso and his then wife, Olga, lived in the late 1910s and early 1920s. Rosenberg and Picasso had a close working relationship and friendship.

Condition: The sheet measures 11 7/8 x 8 7/8 in., and is hinged near the upper corners on verso. The frame measures 21 1/2 x 18 x 2 in.
