After Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985)
The Tribe of Asher, from the Suite Twelve Maquettes of Stained Glass Windows for Jerusalem, 1964, total edition of 235, printed by Charles Sorlier, Paris, published by ?ditions Fernand Mourlot, Paris (Mourlot, CS20). Signed "Marc Chagall" in pencil l.r., numbered "76/150" in pencil l.l., signed and with publisher's name in the matrix. Color lithograph on paper, image size 24 1/2 x 18 1/4 in. (62.2 x 46.3 cm), framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.Condition
Condition: Framed dimensions: 33 x 26 1/2 in. Mat burn, narrow strip of adhesive residue to perimeter on recto, very few scattered pinprick fox marks, identified and title printed on the verso, two tape hinges affixed to the upper edge on verso.
