A. Lange & Sohne Glashutte B/Dresden 18kt Gold Hunter-case Watch and Associated Box, roman numeral enameled porcelain dial with sunk seconds, marked "A. Lange & Sohne Glashutte B/Dresden," plain cuvette, three-quarter plate, gold jewel settings, diamond endstone, bimetallic compensation balance with gold setting screws, engraved balance cock, gold escape wheel and pallet fork, signed as above and no. 15651, engine-turned case, the front having a profile of a lion at the center, leather-bound slant-lid box with interior retail label reading "Ed. Pachtmann K. Hofl/Dresden Pragerstr.7," early molded Galalith applied decoration of a family shield with an "RP" monogram, dia. 51 mm, 108g.
Note: According to the consignor, this watch and box was given to his father in the early 1950s by a Russian woman whose father worked for the tsar.Condition
Condition: lacking crystal, does not wind or set, small hairline on dial below 5, case and movemnet number 15651
