Eighteen autographed sketches and documents, sketches by Joyce Getchell Bynum include Jean-Paul Rampall, James Pappoutsakis, Verne Q. Powell, Rudolf Serkin, Jerome Lowenthal, William Steinberg, Charles Munch, Max Rudolf, Walter Piston, Isaac Stern, and two Ravi Shankar; a miniature score of Brahms, Ein deutsches Requiem, 1973, signed by Robert Shaw on p. viii; Erich Leinsdorf typed letter signed to Miss Joyce Getchell, on Boston Symphony Orchestra stationary, 10 February 1964 thanking her for her note about the memorial service for President Kennedy, (mounted on black cardstock); vocal score for Aaron Copland, In the Beginning signed by Copland on the title page; Gunther Schuller typed letter signed to Mrs. David Bynum, on New England Conservatory of Music stationary, 18 November 1974 regarding a recording and best wishes for the future, and Gunther Schuller autograph note signed to Joyce [Bynum], 18 July 1983.
