Condition
The bureau plat is in good condition with expected general light wear, minor marks and small scratches, surface buildup on gilt bronze mounts, a few small (>1/2") pieces of veneer loss on stretcher, and tulipwood panels are a bit dry needing a good hand waxing. The mounts are nicely cast with crisp details and two were removed, the central drawer mount and the dolphins on the stretcher but neither were marked. The tooled leather top is later. The chaise is in very good professionally restored condition with expected light wear from use, has horsehair padding, later upholstery, and is sturdy.
