A GROUP OF THREE SATSUMA PARCEL GILT AND POLYCHROME PAINTED EARTHENWARES, IMPRESSED AND OVERGLAZE PAINTED MARKS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each gilt and painted in traditional palette, comprising a tapering hexagonal vase with vertical panels centering Samurai warriors in colorfully enameled ceremonial armor, before a tent draped ancient tree and mountainous landscape in the distance, opposite an interior setting depicting a seated nobleman with his wife and son wearing fine ceremonial robes, gazing out an interior window framing an ancient tree and distant mountain, alternating vertical panels enclosing variously shaped textile patterns, beneath a similarly detailed wasted neck and flat rim, reversing to an underside with faint impressed circular and rectangular marks, height: 11 3/4"; a tapering ovoid lidded jar with sides centering mustachioed sages wearing ornately detailed robes and seated before a mountainous landscape, alternating vertical rectangular panels enclosing variously shaped complex textile patterns beneath a similarly decorated banded shoulder with scalloped trim, surmounted by short cylindrical lid with flat top continuing textile decoration, raised highlighting details throughout, height: 6 3/4"; together with a diminutive two handled bottle form bud vase with sides centering a rectangular reserve depicting an interior of seated ladies and attendant maidens wearing intricate traditional robes, watching frolicking children before a window framing a distant mountainous landscape, opposite an interior enclosing a seated Samurai surrounded by his warriors wearing intricately detailed armor, before a window revealing a mountainous landscape, alternating circular reserves enclosing auspicious deities beneath a long flaring neck with rectangular panel s of a seated maiden in traditional robes opposite a seated Samurai warrior,flanked by mythical bird form arched handles surmounted by circular Satsuma mons within variously shaped textile patterns continuing to a delicately scalloped rim, reversing to an underside with a circular overglaze gilt detailed black Satsuma mon, above a gilt six character black square mark, height: 5 1/8".
