- Lot Description
Moshe Gershuni (Israeli, 1936-2017), "Untitled", Mixed Media on Paper including charcoal and oil paint, signed lower right, cerused wood frame. Image: 39" H x 54" W; frame: 44.5" H x 60.25" W. Provenance: Property from a 900 Park Avenue estate. Note: Moshe Gershuni was one of Israel's most acclaimed modern painters, his work often combining biographical elements, homosexual expression, and aggressive expressionism. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art hosted a retrospective exhibition of Gershuni's life work in 2010.
