Mark Twain (American, 1835-1910) "Roughing It," American Publishing Company, Hartford Connecticut, 1872, first edition, first state, illustrated with two frontispieces, includes the following errors: (1) "thirteenth" instead of "sixteenth" on page 156, (2) capital "T" in trees on page 156, and (3) capital "E" in "eastern" on page 330, line 23, however there is no advertising on page 592, bound in gilt black cloth, with previous stamps on the front endpages, and an ex libris embossed stamp on the title page. 9" H x 6" W x 2" D.
