Japanese Red Lacquered and Gilt Wood Amida Buddha Sculpture, circa 19th century or earlier, the figure donning a crown with metal elements, a crystal third eye, and standing upon a lotus pedestal and before a gilt mandorla carved with a cloud motif, his hands in prayer position and two additional arms raised, likely once holding objects now lacking. 21" H x 8.5" W x 6.25" D.
