Italian Empire Parcel Gilded and Ebonized Bench, possibly Rome, circa 1815-1820, with four lion-headed and footed monopodia conjoined by incurved seat rails above and turned x-form stretchers below, the upholstered seat covered in a bright ikat silk. 20" H x 23" W x 14" D. Provenance: From a 140 East 56th Street estate.
