Literature: Daniel Marchesseau, Diego Giacometti, Ed. Herman, Paris, 2005, p.117 (similar model). Francois Fracisci, Diego Giacometti, Catalogue de l'oeuvre, Paris, 1986, p. 55 (illustration of another cast). This lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity by James Lord, dated 26 May 2005.
