Born in 1940 in Yorkshire, England, John Pearson attended Akademie Der Bildenden Kunst, in Munich, Germany, as well as the Royal Academy Schools in London. He has taught at the University of New Mexico, the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, and the Cleveland Institute of Art, before reaching his current position as the Chair of the Department of Art at Oberlin College.
His work is featured in the collections of the New York Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Arts, and the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, in Hangzhou, China, among others. He has been commissioned for work by numerous Cleveland organizations, including Case Western Reserve University's Peter B. Lewis Center, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and the Cleveland Justice Center.

If you do not agree to our shipping quote, we can refer you to one of our 3rd party shipping partners. International orders (outside of Canada) will be considered on a case by case basis whether in-house shipping will be offered. Local orders will not have a shipping quote included on their invoice.
For in-house shipping, our fees include all packaging time and materials, handling, insurance and freight charges unless otherwise noted. Shipping costs are calculated on dimensional weight. Packages shipped to multi-unit addresses or those valued at $200 or more will require signature confirmation.
