University printing house. 8vo (218 x 153 mm) each volume. 328 pages (volume I: A to K); 290 pages (volume II: L to ...). Contemporary quarter bindings with marbled paper. Spines with gilt tooling. All edges stained.
LOT NOTES
The present lot features the first written biography of DERZHAVIN, Gavriil Romanovich (1743-1816), Russian poet, statesman, Senator, and member of the Privy Council. Events from his life were personally written down by Mitropolit Yevgeniy based on personal memoirs and materials that he received directly from Derzhavin.
