LOT NOTES
Hendrik Lot, also known as Henry Lot, was a a celebrated landscape painter of the Dusseldorf school. Originally having studied painting with Barnd Cornelis Koekkoek in Kleve, Lot would move to Dusseldorf in 1853, where he lived and worked until his death in 1876. His famous painting Die Waldszene, hangs in the Dusseldorfer Rathaus.
