Illustrated by EXTER, Alexandra (1882-1949), text by Mary Colmont. Album du Pere Castor [Father Castor`s Albums], three large limited edition panoramas. Paris: Flammarion, 1937-38. Original color lithographed boards. 4to (250 x 250 mm each). Rare in this condition. Comprising:
a) Panorama du Fleuve [Panorama of the River]
b) Panorama de la Cote [Panorama of the River Bank]
c) Panorama de la Montagne [Panorama of the Mountain]
Paul Faucher of Flammarion sought exceptional Russian emigre artists (including Bilibin, Rojankovsky and Exter) to design his Albums du Pere Castor.
