the two holies depicted in a mountainous landscape near a lake, the figure of Saint Vasily (also known as St. Basil) shown barefoot and in a ragged dress, the Holy Martyr Mariana shown in embroidered robes and holding a palm branch, the icon with a richly tooled and gilded border and background.
