A RUSSIAN ICON OF CHRIST PANTOCRATOR IN A GILT SILVER AND ENAMEL OKLAD, MARKED SG, 1890S
the vestments chased and repousse, the oklad with ornamental borders and the halo in cloisonne enamel, the plaque decorated in blue champleve enamel. The oklad struck with Cyrillic maker`s mark of SG, 84 standard. Egg tempera and gesso on wood panel, verso draped with a velvet cloth. 27 x 22.5 cm (10 5/8 x 8 7/8 in.) - Buyer's Premium
