A PARCEL GILT ANTIQUE SILVER AND NIELLO COVERED JUG, POSSIBLY JOHAN HEINON, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1847

with an urn-shaped body, supported by a flared foot, the exterior extensively decorated with scrolling niello acanthus leaves and C-scroll cartouches with engraved flowers, fully-gilded interior, with a scrolling handle, the cover with conforming decoration and a cast silver finial in the form of a rose, height: 17.5 cm (6 7/8 in.), assayer`s mark of Andrey Antonovich Kovalsky, 84 standard
