a) a keepsake box of rectangular shape, the cover depicting a hard-fought battle of the Vityaz horsemen, decorated with a gilded ornament running on the sides of the box, carmine interior, length: 17.3 cm (6 3/4 in.), dated, numbered and signed No 1385 1932 Palekh A. Shurakov
b) a keepsake box of square shape, the hinged cover depicting a scene from Gogol`s May Night, the round composition framed with gilded ornaments, crimson interior, length: 14.3 cm (5 5/8 in.), titled, dated and signed Mayskaya Noch Belovan Mstyora 1947
c) a desk set featuring a box of rectangular shape with an inkstand and a storage compartment inside, the box set on a square base supported by four feet, the hinged cover depicting the cheerful Zaporozhian Cossacks, an oval gilded frame runs around the composition, accentuated by gilded detailing in the corners, crimson interior, length of the box without the base: 12.6 cm (5 in.), titled, dated and signed Zaporozhtsy A. Merkuryev Mstyora 1949
