A GROUP OF 4 ORIGINAL POSTER SKETCHES BY VLADIMIR GALBA (RUSSIAN 1908-1984)
comprising:
a) Tall Like Goebbels from the illustrations of Nazi racial policy, 1941, India ink and ink wash on paper, 30.5 x 25.5 cm (12 x 10 in.), titled lower right, bearing miscellaneous editorial comments and inscriptions with the publisher`s seal of approval Izdatelstvo Khudozhnik RSFSR on verso, accompanied by a sheet of vellum paper with additional inscriptions;
b) Athletic Like Goering, 1941, India ink and ink wash on paper, 30.2 x 25.5 cm (11 7/8 x 10 in.), signed with monogram lower right; titled and dated lower right;
c) Blond Like Hitler, 1941, India ink, gouache and ink wash on paper, 30.2 x 25.5 cm (11 7/8 x 10 in.), inscribed with an editorial comment center right, with miscellaneous inscriptions and signatures of the editorial staff, including publisher`s seal of approval Izdatelstvo Khudozhnik RSFSR on verso, featuring a pencil sketch for Tall Like Goebbels on verso;
d) Vidy na Krym. Nakosya - Vykusi! [Dibs on Crimea. Bite Me!], 1944, India ink, watercolor, gouache and pencil on paper, 31.2 x 38 cm (12 1/4 x 15 in.), bearing miscellaneous editorial comments and inscriptions on recto and verso, with publisher`s seal of approval Izdatelstvo Khudozhnik RSFSR on verso, accompanied by a sheet of vellum paper inscribed by the artist with title and date
