Painter, sculptor, engraver and designer. At an early age he was attracted to art and at the age of six he won his first painting contest. He studied Industrial Design at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Yuri Zatarain has become an icon of design worldwide, participating in more than 250 exhibitions around the world in cities such as: Mexico City, New York, Paris, London, Las Vegas, Milan, Verona, Greece, Russia, Dallas, Washington, San Francisco and Saudi Arabia. Zatarain's compositions combine the figurative with the abstract while delving into recurring themes of love and honesty. The award-winning artist combines techniques and uses pencils, charcoal, acrylics, oils, paint on metal, canvas, wood or ceramics.
