Artist Bio:
Sydney Mortimer Laurence (1865–1940) was an American painter celebrated for his depictions of Alaska's wilderness. He visited Alaska in 1903 and was captivated by its landscapes, later becoming known for his evocative portrayals of its mountains, glaciers, and forests. Laurence's art gained international acclaim, establishing him as a leading artist of the American West. Despite his death in 1940, his legacy lives on through his timeless works, which continue to inspire appreciation for Alaska's natural beauty.
Condition: Piece is overall in very good condition. There is a pin size hole in the right center of painting only visible under radiating light. Around this hole is a 1mm wide circle of paint loss. Canvas is also slightly loose on the stretcher but does not affect image.
For your convenience, in-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required.

Shipping Requirements: We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
