- Lot Description
Offered in this lot a very rare Full Proof Ticket to the historic October 30, 1974 World Heavyweight Championship match between undefeated Champion George Foreman and former champion Muhammad Ali more commonly known as the "Rumble in the Jungle" held in Kinshasa Zaire. Proof ticket is dated September 25, 1974 but the fight did not take place until October 30th. It was fought at 4:00 AM so American pay per view audiences could view the match at a reasonable hour. In an upset, Ali knocked out Foreman in the 8th round. Full proof ticket presents beautifully and is graded EX 5 by PSA. Just one example is graded higher in the PSA population report.
