- Lot Description
Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza was at the peak of his powers with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1997. Piazza batted a remarkable .362 with 40 home runs and 124 RBI on the season. These stats were more than enough for him to finish as the NL MVP runner-up for the second season in a row.
Offered is a circa 1997 Mike Piazza catcher's mask. The Rawlings mask shows excellent signs of game use, according to John Taube on his J.T. Sports LOA. Piazza autographed the head pad in strong black permanent marker. Accompanied by LOAs from both PSA/DNA and Beckett for the signature.
