A terrific action shot of two all-time trash-talkin' greats: Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller. There wasn’t a bigger rival to His Airness than Reggie Miller of the Pacers. The two had a fierce rivalry over the course of their careers, facing each other 56 times including seven playoff games. Despite Miller talking a good game, he was clearly outmatched by Jordan, who averaged 29.8 points a game to Miller’s 18.9. In the ESPN doc, “The Last Dance,” Miller talks about going into the 1989 conference finals against the Bulls and Jordan: “In my mind, I was thinking... 'this is it. You're going to retire Michael Jordan.'" Meanwhile Jordan had this to say about his longtime nemesis: “I don't dislike anybody in the league but playing Reggie Miller drives me nuts.” This superb action shot of the pair freezes their rivalry for eternity, each man reaching for the basketball, determined to be the victor. The Type 1 photo measures 8” x 10” and has been printed to its edges. The reverse has the Kodak paper watermark and digital code stamps. Encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
