- Lot Description
Offered here are Brian Wilson's 2011 Nike MAG Limited Edition shoes. Created by Nike in 2011, these shoes replicate the pair worn by Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) in the 1989 film Back to the Future II. The shoes feature glowing LED panels and in-built battery and are the first rechargeable sneakers made by Nike.
Wilson received these shoes from Nike to wear them during an MLB game and this pair can be seen on the September 16, 2011 versus the Colorado Rockies. The SF Giants won the 9-1.
The shoes are part of the Brian Wilson Collection being offered in this auction and are accompanied by an LOA from the three-time MLB All Star closer.
