- Lot Description
Japanese sensation Shohei Ohtani started off his MLB career in style by homering in his second game. The April 3, 2018, game was also his first appearance at Angels Stadium which would be his home for the first six years of his career. The Angels jumped on Indians started Josh Tomlin early, with Mike Trout hitting a solo homer followed by three singles, a walk and wild pitch. Shohei’s first American home run cleared the center field wall and drove in three Angels runs. Ohtani would collect two more hits as the Angels routed the Indians, 13-2. This Angels home full ticket admitted its original owner to the game in which Ohtani began his meteoric home run tally. The future rookie of the year and two-time MVP has signed the front in sharp black marker and in his rookie era signature style. To date only two signed tickets to this historic game are known to exist. The ticket shows slight wear, and the black signature pops off the colorful ticket front. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded Authentic Auto 9 by PSA/DNA.
