- Lot Description
You cannot put into words what Mohamed Salah means to the people of Egypt and Arabian football fans worldwide. The talented striker, now 32 years old, has thrilled the world with his scoring, dribbling and play-making for well over a decade. Egypt's all-time leading scorer with 59 goals in 103 caps, his fame exploded when he landed at Liverpool FC in 2017. Currently, Mo stands fifth on the prestigious Premier League club's all-time scoring list with 221 goals across all competitions. Featured here is a match shirt from 2021-22 EPL play during which Salah tallied 23 goals in 35 games helping Liverpool place 2nd in the table. Jurgen Klopp's boys won both the FA and EFL Cups that season, while also finishing runners up in the UEFA Champion's League.
This Liverpool burgundy colorway made by Nike features the Swoosh logo, kit sponsor "Standard Chartered" and the LFC team crest prominently on the front. The sleeves have the Premier League logo with "No Room For Racism" on right and sponsor Expedia on left. The reverse has "M. SALAH" and his number "11" in white block letters and numbers individually pressed onto the 100% polyester fabric. The size large shirt is properly tagged within the collar with Nike Dri-Fit ADV and size labels printed on the fabric. On the left front tail is the unique Nike code label (N20267897P). On the inner left tail, the wash instructions are also printed directly onto the fabric next to a Nike flag tag with a SU21102MAT manufacturing date code.
The shirt was sourced through a Manchester United kitman and, in our opinion, exhibits light to moderate wear. Includes COA from Classic Football Shirts (based in UK) documenting the Man U provenance. Also comes with LOA from Sports Investors, which calls it "match issued".
