- Lot Description
The Los Angeles Dodgers entered Game 6 of the 2020 World Series up three games to two on the Tampa Bay Rays and looking to win the franchise's first championship since 1988. The Rays were pitching a 1-0 shutout until the bottom of the sixth inning. After a Mookie Betts double put Austin Barnes on third base, a wild pitch from Rays reliever Nick Anderson allowed Barnes to come in and score the tying run. The official 2024 World Series (Manfred Jr.) baseball presented here is the one thrown for that momentum-shifting wild pitch. The heavy dirt scuff mark is clearly visible. The Dodgers scored again in the inning and never looked back, winning 3-1 to clinch the World Series in six games. Certified by MLB Authentication (VS708840).
