- Lot Description
Arguably the most revered name in baseball during 2000's, Ichiro's elite skill and durability helped him achieve two unfathomable feats - he was the A.L. MVP as a rookie and he reached the 3,000 hit mark despite debuting in the Major leagues at twenty-seven years of age. All that and a bag of chips, he collected ten straight All-Star berths, ten straight Gold Gloves and ten straight 200-hit seasons. An absolute legend!
Featured here is a game worn Mariners jersey from his 2012 campaign in which he was traded to the Yankees after 95 games of action for Seattle. He batted .261, had 4 homers and 28 RBI for the club before the trade. The offered jersey has been signed and inscribe by Ichiro. Inscription reads "51" next to his autograph and "GU12" just below on the same number. Autograph is neatly placed in bold silver marker and presents very nicely. Game use letter comes from Mill Creek Sports who have very close ties to the Mariners organization and the letter is signed by Ichiro. PSA/DNA has also authenticated the signature and inscription and is stickered by the firm.
