- Lot Description
Miguel Cabrera became the face of the Florida Marlins when he helped lead the Fish to their first World Championship in 2003. Cabrera went on to become one of the game's most talented stars, winning two MVP Awards, seven Silver Slugger Awards, a slew of batting championships, and Triple Crown.
This lot offers a circa 2007 Miguel Cabrera Zinger '24' professional model game used and autographed bat. In 2007, Cabrera hit for .320 with 34 homers and made the All-Star team. The Zinger '24' series bat shows definitive signs of game use. Many ball marks and scuffs cover the barrel, and a heavy coat of pine tar is found on the handle. Cabrera autographed the barrel of the bat in silver permanent marker, ideal for display. PSA/DNA has given the bat a perfect GU 10 grade for its game use characteristics. Weight: 31.2 ounces. Length: 34 inches.
The bat is accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA and has also been stickered for the autograph authentication.
