- Lot Description
Alex Rodriguez remains one of the most iconic figures in baseball from the late 90s through the 2010s, racking up three American League MVPs and 14 All-Star appearances. During that time, he also helped the Yankees win the World Series in 2009, their first title since 2000 (a drought for the Yankees).
This lot offers an earlier career 2001 Louisville Slugger 'G174' professional model autographed bat. The bat exhibits heavy use and a handle crack but remains in good condition as it has been designated as practice used. A heavy coat of pine tar can be noticed on the handle along with bat marks and stitch impressions on the barrel. The barrel has been autographed in bold permanent marker for excellent eye appeal.
The bat has been authenticated by PSA/DNA as well as the signature. A full LOA accompanies the bat for its authenticity.
