Minutes before midnight on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, Shams Charania lit the NBA world on fire when he announced that Luka Dončić had officially been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and the 2029 first-round pick to Dallas. This blockbuster trade altered the future of the NBA and sent the talented 25-year-old (now 26) to LA to team up with LeBron on the Lakers.
Since his debut in LA, Luka has averaged 26.2 PPG, 8.8 RPG, and 8.1 APG with a 10-5 record, setting the Lakers up for a potential top-five playoff spot come April 13th.
This lot offers the jersey Luka Doncic wore during the first half of the February 12th outing against the Utah Jazz. Doncic played 23 minutes in the contest and registered 16 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, one steal, and one block. The #77 LA Lakers Icon Edition jersey is a size 54 +6 length home jersey and remains in excellent condition. "2/12/25" has been inscribed on the NBA Authentics Nike jock tag denoting the date that the jersey was worn.
This jersey is the earliest to surface from Luka's tenure as a Laker.
