- Lot Description
The 1995 Dallas Cowboys entered the season having won two of the last three Super Bowls. They cruised to the NFC East title with a record of 12-4. In the Divisional Playoffs, Dallas easily handled the Philadelphia Eagles 30-11 to set up an NFC Championship showdown with the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys beat the Packers 38-27 and faced the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XXX in a battle of historic franchises. Dallas prevailed 27-17 to become the first team to ever win three Super Bowls in a span of four seasons.
Presented is a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXX ring awarded to cornerback Clayton Holmes. The 10K gold ring features a sea of genuine diamonds on the face, five of which make up the iconic Cowboys star logo. The words "DALLAS COWBOYS" are at the top and bottom of the face, with additional diamonds on each side. On one shank is "WORLD CHAMPIONS" with each of the five Lombardi trophies won by the franchise. Three of these are set with diamonds, and the Super Bowl XXX logo is found underneath. The opposite shank has the player's name "HOLMES" above the NFL logo, the score of the game, and the since-demolished Texas Stadium. Inside of the band is stamped "10K." The size 11 ring weighs 71.63 grams.
