Jim Thome made his MLB debut at the end of the 1993 season after leading the International League with a .332 batting average. In the strike-shortened 1994 season, Thome recorded his first 2-home run game and the next year hit .314 to help lead Cleveland to their first World Series since 1954. Used during the 1993-1995 seasons, Thome’s Louisville Slugger 'I13' Professional Model bat shows good game use. The barrel displays several ball marks and abrasions along with cleat imprints. The handle has a light coat of pine tar, and the knob has been wrapped in white adhesive tape to enhance the grip. Both the barrel and knob end have Thome’s number “25” and the bat’s model number “I13” in black marker. A great looking gamer from the Indians star. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and has been graded GU 8.5.
