- Lot Description
Hard to top this eye-pleasing full Super Bowl XXIII ticket which perfectly captures the spirit of the San Francisco 49ers 1980's dynasty with pristine autographs from the franchise's two greatest players.
Super Bowl XXIII between the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals was played at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami on January 22, 1989. Trailing 16-13 with 3:10 left in the 4th quarter, Montana drove the Niners 92 yards, with several chunks picked up by Rice, eventually tossing the game-winning TD pass to John Taylor with 34 seconds left to seal a 20-16 victory.
The $150 Club level ticket in Miami-themed neon colors comes in full form and has been authenticated by PSA, but not graded. There are little flaws to speak of, and no reason this ticket wouldn't receive at least NM-MT 8 or better. The signatures come in matching bold black marker that PSA/DNA graded a perfect 10.
