- Lot Description
The 1988 Los Angeles Lakers won the eleventh championship in franchise history and became the first back-to-back champion since the 1960s Celtics. En route to the title, the Lake Show faced the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.
This ticket is from Game 1 of that series, in which eventual NBA Finals MVP James Worthy dropped 28 points to lead LA to a 113-98 victory. Worthy signed the ticket in bold blue marker and inscribed "FINALS MVP." The ticket was graded a Good 2 by PSA, and Worthy's penmanship earned a perfect 10 autograph grade.
