Rod Strickland began his 17-year NBA career with the New York Knicks in 188 and played for an impressive nine franchises until his retirement in 2005.
This lot presents a 1988-89 rookie year game worn Rod Strickland New York Knicks game worn road jersey. .The 42 +2 body length jersey exhibits evidence of game use but remains in excellent condition. The Sand Knit tagging remains present on the lower left hand side of the front of the jersey. "88" has been sewn in beside the jock tag denoting the manufacturer year.
Strickland averaged 8.9 ppg, 2 ppg, and 3.9 apg during his rookie campaign.
The jersey is accompanied by a full letter from MEARS authentication. The jersey received a highest-possible A10 grade.
