After leading the Athletics and Yankees to World Championships, Reggie Jackson brought his slugging talent to the California Angels in 1982. Though the Halos did not win a World Series during Jackson’s time with the club, the Angels did win the AL West in 1982 and 1986. Reggie’s black Adirondack '288RJ' Professional Model bat dates from the later division title season of 1986. As one would expect to see on a Reggie Jackson gamer, the bat shows good game use. The barrel has several prominent ball marls with white leather ball scuffs along with cleat imprints. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and both the barrel and knob end have Jackson’s number “44” handwritten in silver marker. Reggie’s Angels-era gamer is completed with his signature along the barrel in silver pen. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and has been graded GU 9.
