A glance at the Orioles franchise record book finds Eddie Murray’s name all over it. In an Orioles career that spanned 1977 to 1988 and included two pennants and World Championship, Murray was the team’s most reliable hitter. This bat dates to “Steady Eddie’s” last three summers in Baltimore and his first in Los Angeles. The Hall of Famer’s 1986-1989 era Louisville Slugger Professional Model bat is un-broken and shows excellent game use. Several ball marks are found on the left and back barrel and blue bat rack paint streaks are located on the back barrel. The upper handle has a moderate coat of pine tar, and the lower handle has a lighter coat. The Hall of Famer’s number “33” is handwritten on both ends of the bat in black marker. The Orioles legend has completed this museum-worthy bat with a large signature on the back barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and has been graded a GU 7.5.
