- Lot Description
1985 was Rickey Henderson's first season with the New York Yankees, and he came through in a big way for the Bronx Bombers. He led all of baseball with a 9.9 WAR, batting .314 with 24 home runs, 72 RBI and a league-leading 80 stolen bases. He finished third in the AL MVP voting. The Man of Steal's Louisville Slugger H176 bat offered here shows excellent use and has a handle crack. Henderson has signed the barrel in beautiful gold ink. John Taube of PSA/DNA has given the bat a 9 grade for game use. Also accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA for the autograph.
